Gun Violence Prevention: Dr. Steve Dunlop

Hooiers Concerned About Gun Violence brings together Hoosiers concerned about the rising tide of gun violence to seek solutions to this problem at the local, state and national levels. Gun violence is now the leading cause of death of young African-American males and the second leading cause for young white males. Of course, guns alone are not responsible for these deaths. However, because firearms are so easily accessible in the United States, we have the dubious honor of having one of the highest murder rates in the world.
Dr. Dunlop who is a Board Member of Hooiers Concerned About Gun Violence will discuss the need to be concerend about gun violence in the city and the country, especially as it relates to children. (more)
